The Accu-Touch2 biometric time-and-attendance terminal reads the geometry of two fingers for identification. Manufactured by Accu-Time Systems Inc., Ellington, Conn., the device has been designed for applications requiring quick responses and where fingers can get dirty. The two-finger system is more reliable than a single finger due to the amount of unique points available, says the maker. Based on the Series 2000 open architecture design, the terminal supports third party time-and-attendance packages. The Pro-700 communication system provides hands-free, high-speed internal communication for up to 40 subscribers.
